First gay protest in Beirut

In opposition to the violence in the Lebanese society targeting the minorities as of homosexuals, women, children, domestic and foreign workers and others, Helem in collaboration with Human Rights organizations active in the Lebanese civil society invites to a sit-in in Sodeco, Beirut. The sit-in is on the 22nd of February 2009 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm." إستنكارًا لأحداث العنف في المجتمع اللّبناني ضد المهمشين والأقليات فيه من مثليين ومثليات, نساء, أطفال, والعمّال والعاملات الأجانب وغيرهم, تدعو جمعيّة حلم بالتعاون مع جمعيات المجتمع المدني اللّبناني الناشطة في مجال حقوق الإنسان لتجمّع سلمي وإضاءة شموع, مساء الأحد الواقع في 22 شباط 2009 في تمام الساعة الخامسة إلى السادسة بعد الظهر في منطقة السوديكو - بيروت.
